Ronson, an underdog potter, has an obsession with his neighbor, Herbanina. In a dream, he dazzles her with his stamp collection and picnic treats that are received with equal passion; however, to win Herbanina’s affection in reality, he must emerge as champion of the all-state pottery competition and defeat five-time all-star potter, Unger Fuchs.
